La congresista del Bloque Democrático Popular, Ruth Luque, anunció que presentará una moción de censura contra el presidente del Consejo de Ministros, Eduardo Arana Ysa, tras difundirse un audio que lo implicaría en un presunto caso de tráfico de influencias.
En la grabación, revelada por el programa Panorama, se escucha una conversación entre Arana y el actual ministro de Justicia y Derechos Humanos, Juan Santiváñez, cuando en septiembre de 2024 ocupaban los cargos de ministro de Justicia y ministro del Interior, respectivamente. Según el material difundido, ambos habrían coordinado el traslado a un pabellón más cómodo en el penal El Milagro, en Trujillo, para Miguel Marcelo Salirrosas, alias “El diablo”, un expolicía condenado a 27 años de cárcel por integrar la organización criminal “Los Pulpos”.
A través de su cuenta en X (antes Twitter), Luque exigió también la renuncia inmediata de Santiváñez. “Como ministros han gestionado intereses particulares, pro delincuencia. Ni Santiváñez, ni Arana. Ambos deben renunciar inmediatamente”, sostuvo.
Asimismo, criticó a Santiváñez por, supuestamente, haber utilizado el Ministerio del Interior para “generar redes de influencia”. “Además, celebra los cambios al delito de organización criminal para salvar a sus delincuentes. El tiempo nos da la razón, legislan para la delincuencia”, agregó.
Hasta el momento, ni la Presidencia del Consejo de Ministros ni el Ministerio de Justicia se han pronunciado sobre el caso.
