En Horas de la tarde se registró un accidente de tránsito en la panamericana norte, a la altura del ingreso al circuito de playas de la ciudad de Huacho, según los testigos, el conductor Luis Ángel Ramírez Barrera de la camioneta de placa de rodaje BUE-253, quedó gravemente herido.
Luis Ángel Ramírez Barrera, es presidente del Club José Faustino Sánchez Carrión de Huacho, el impacto contra el tráiler fue de tal magnitud que la camioneta quedó totalmente destrozada la parte delantera, una de las puertas quedó empotrada en el pesado tráiler, haciendo que Ramírez Barrera saliera volando y el vehículo terminara chocando contra la pared de un terreno.
La Unidad Numero 20 de los bomberos fueron quienes la dieron los primeros auxilios y luego ser trasladado al Hospital Regional de Huacho, el estado de salud del conductor es reservado, la Policía Nacional se apersono al lugar para las investigaciones correspondientes.
