La Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales (ONPE) habilitó, desde el domingo 23 de noviembre de 2025, la plataforma Elige tu local de votación (ETLV) para las Elecciones Generales 2026, la cual permite a los electores elegir hasta tres opciones cercanas a su domicilio.
Ingresa a eligetulocal.onpe.gob.pe y selecciona hasta 3 locales dentro del distrito de residencia que figura en tu DNI.
La elección puede ser realizada por todos los electores hábiles residentes en el territorio nacional, incluyendo aquellos que cumplan 18 años el mismo día de los comicios.
Cada elector podrá elegir hasta tres (3) locales únicamente dentro del distrito que figura en su Documento Nacional de Identidad (DNI), según dirección válida al cierre del padrón electoral (14 de octubre de 2025). Estarán disponibles 8,455 locales de votación, a nivel nacional.
La plataforma estará disponible hasta el 14 de diciembre de 2025, las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana.
Se podrá acceder en tres idiomas, español, quechua y aymara. Si una persona presenta algún tipo de discapacidad, lo puede consignar en el aplicativo, a fin de que se le brinde atención preferente en el local de votación que se le determine.
La selección de locales se puede realizar de dos formas:
1) Vía versión web para computadoras de escritorio: el método de verificación de la identidad del usuario se realizará respondiendo tres (3) preguntas personales.
2) Vía versión web móvil: para verificar tu identidad debes escoger una de las dos modalidades: respondiendo tres (3) preguntas personales y tomando una foto de tu DNI o mediante reconocimiento facial.
Tras verificar la identidad, los ciudadanos deberán colocar su correo electrónico, número de celular, así como los datos de su ubigeo (departamento, provincia y distrito) consignados en su DNI hasta el día de cierre del padrón electoral (14 de octubre de 2025). También podrá seleccionar si tiene algún tipo de discapacidad.
El elector recibirá un correo electrónico con un mensaje de la ONPE para confirmar la dirección de correo. Es importante hacerlo para poder continuar con el procedimiento.
Luego de la confirmación, la persona podrá hacer la elección de sus tres (3) locales de votación de acuerdo al orden de su preferencia. Después de elegir los tres locales, el sistema le preguntará al ciudadano si ya culminó con su selección. Seguidamente aparecerá un mensaje para que el usuario guarde sus opciones o pueda regresar y hacer modificaciones. Al culminar, el usuario recibirá un correo con información sobre los tres lugares seleccionados.
Es importante precisar que, tras el primer registro, los ciudadanos tendrán tres intentos adicionales para modificar su elección. En el mes de marzo de 2026, el elector podrá conocer el lugar que se le asignará para los comicios.
En cada proceso electoral es necesario realizar una nueva selección de tres locales de votación, dado que estos pueden variar respecto a elecciones anteriores. Todos los peruanos deben usar el aplicativo, caso contrario, la ONPE les asignará un local de votación de acuerdo a la disponibilidad de los mismos.
La plataforma tiene como objetivos acercar el local de votación al domicilio del elector, reducir tiempo y ahorrar dinero en el traslado hacia el centro de sufragio el día de la elección, así como optimizar la organización y distribución de mesas a nivel nacional.
Hay que precisar que el registro de los datos personales es seguro y confidencial, ya que se realiza de forma individual y está protegido por la Ley N.º 29733 – Ley de Protección de Datos Personales y su Reglamento, aprobado por el Decreto Supremo N.° 016-2024-JUS y sus correspondientes modificatorias. De esta manera, se garantiza la seguridad y autenticidad del proceso, evitando posibles suplantaciones de identidad.
