Producto del fuerte impacto los ocupantes de la pequeña unidad quedaron graves y fueron trasladados hacia el hospital de Chancay.
El accidente se registra en km 93 de la panamericana norte cerca en Chancayllo, circunstancias que el auto a velocidad impactó y se empotró contra el tráiler ingresaba en ese carril.
Varios heridos fueron trasladados en vehículos de serenazgo, PNP y particular. La ambulancia de los bomberos de Chancay estaría malograda.
El hecho se suscitó con sentido de sur a norte. La minivan realizaba la ruta Lima Huacho.
